Dr. Laura Thomason received her B.A. in English and Secondary Education from the College of Santa Fe and her M.A. and Ph.D. in English from the University of North Texas.  She joined the Macon State College faculty in 2006.  Dr. Thomason teaches composition, literature, and professional communication while researching issues of gender and sexuality in eighteenth-century England.  Her current project is titled Intelligent Wives in Eighteenth-Century Life and Literature.
